Honors Convocation - Yakima Valley's Finest

Eisenhower joins other Yakima area schools in recognizing graduating students for their distinguished academic achievements. The Honors Convocation is an annual celebration and is one of the most important academic traditions.  Students that achieve an accumulated GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to celebrate their exceptional accomplishment.

Tradition invites the participating school's PTA & PTSA members to speak, recognize and celebrate with these students.  After the ceremony, refreshments are served by Eisenhower PTSA members.

Each class has a parent representative (Liaison) that jointly meets with other area high schools to serve refreshments at the May ceremony.  (Usually Eisenhower is in charge of the punch.)
