EISENHOWER HIGH SCHOOL PTSA MINUTES OCT. 13, 2010

President Sherrie Schwehr called the general membership meeting to order at 6:35pm in IKE’s cafeteria. Room 103 was in use for student-led conferences. Members present were Eric Franz, Kim Griffith, Linda Kincannon, Lisa Allison, Lynda Otey, Sherrie Schwehr, Toni Ivy and Cheryl Sauer. Notification was made by email & IKE newsletter.

Minutes of September meeting were tabled due to cafeteria noise and will be read at the Nov. 10 meeting.

Principal’s Report- Principal not present 

Treasurer’s Report- September report was presented.

Membership Report- Lori Frymier was working at the PTSA table during the meeting. A 50/50 raffle was in progress. Safeway escrip and membership brochures were handed out. Several memberships have been purchased.

Senior Party Report- a senior parent meeting has been scheduled for Oct. 26 at 7pm.

Reflections- Chair is Loretta Franz.

Other Committees- Greenway cleanup project fundraiser for class of 2013 will take place tomorrow (Oct. 14). 20 students are participating.

There are several committees in need of chairs.

President’s Report- Membership payment to State is due Oct. 25 and the PTSA insurance payment is due to AIM  Nov. 10. Annual insurance  is effective Dec.1- Dec. 1 each year.

New Business-

The Renaissance budget item is being changed to “Renaissance Rewards”. Annette Cook and Mary Allen are co-chairs. A motion was made in favor of amending the  standing rules to this name change. It was seconded and approved.
